The Irix 150 mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 is a medium-sized macro prime lens with a maximum magnification of 1:1 and a minimum focusing distance of approximately 2.8 cm, allowing for close-up photography of objects. The maximum aperture of f/2.8 enables shooting in various lighting conditions and provides better control over depth of field to isolate subjects. The optical design, consisting of twelve lenses in nine groups, features a Neutrino coating that helps minimize stray light and ghosting, resulting in higher contrast and better color accuracy.

This macro lens impresses with low field curvature, uniform sharpness across the entire image field, and minimal distortion. This lens can only be focused manually.
