It shouldn't matter, because USB 3.0 already offers several times the bandwidth that this HDD can use... i.e. the limiting factor here is definitely the read/write speed of the HDD, not the connection via USB.
Eventuell.
Maybe because the white one is so bright, you also have to buy sunglasses for CHF22.90! They are both 100% the same - I bought a blue pair and a white pair for the same price about a year ago. Am very satisfied.
Bonjour, selon le site PS4 Storage Expert, oui il est compatible. Voir le lien https://www.ps4storage.com/ps4-external-hdd-compatibility/
I can't answer this question - probably only the manufacturer can.
Thank you very much for pointing this out. A correction request has just been sent.
Worked wonderfully with my Philips OLED, have fun
Hello, yes.
Connection cable is included
No, this is not a problem on the Mac either! However, it should be formatted differently on the Mac with the "Disk Utility" (in the "Applications" folder). Preferably "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)! However, it can then only be used with the Mac. I have only had very good experiences with the Toshiba Canvio (no matter which edition)!
Yes, the hard disk goes into standby automatically after a few minutes.
Is the question still relevant?
Hello Silon If you define a fall as a sudden termination of a movement, it depends on how strong the movement was. a fall from a height of 0.5m can already cause irreparable damage, but this is rather unlikely as the read/write heads are in the OFF position and therefore not in contact with the disk. In this case, a magnet would be much more dangerous. The situation is different when the drive is in operation, a movement during operation which ends in apruppt can very quickly cause irreparable damage as the read/write heads hover above the disk (0.1<mm). if a read/write head comes into contact with the disk at a speed of approx. 7200rpm, damage is the result. In summary: Shockproof off up to a certain degree / Shockproof off yes but not optimal I have not found the EXACT read and write rates either. Kind regards TH-H
I don't get the question, there is Canvio Basics, Canvio Advance or Canvio Premium!!!! Top design, colour choice, and new model, it's Canvio Advance. Canvio Basics old model, only black, otherwise the same argeit :-) . Canvio Advance is plastic, very well made, light. Canvio Basics plast matt design, only black, light. Canvio Premium Aluminium heavy bischen sharp corner. All work a wall clean!
Ja, USB 3.0-Anschluss (SuperSpeed) siehe https://www.toshiba-storage.com/de/products/toshiba-portable-hard-drives-canvio-advance/
I have only seen software as the difference.
The Advance is a little smaller and 80 grams lighter. Otherwise, there is no real difference.
I don't see why there should be any reason not to. For use under MacOS, the hard disk must be formatted.
