The difference between the Compact variants and the Control variants:
- The Compact versions are slightly smaller
- The Control versions have an LCD display on the gun that shows the water pressure.
- The Control versions have the Plug'n'Clean system. This means that the bottles of cleaning agent can be inserted directly into the Kärcher and then mixed in. (Specially designed for Kärcher detergent bottles, others cannot necessarily be plugged in here).
With the Compact versions, a small hose must be pulled out of the Kärcher and dipped into the bottle with the cleaning agent.
- With the Compact versions, the hose can be wrapped around the Kärcher and secured with a rubber band. With the Control versions, you have to buy the hose reel if you want to wind the hose.
The Home, Premium, etc. have something to do with the accessories. I recommend that you look at the list of accessories rather than trusting the names. Also check whether it is the Swiss version or the EU version, as you will get either a Swiss or an EU plug.
The T-Racer is included with the Home versions. This is for cleaning floors/surfaces. Due to the T-Racer outer cover, there is no splashing water, so that only the surfaces to be cleaned get wet, while the two rotating nozzles in the cover ensure surface cleaning.
The K5 Premium Full Control Plus includes the hose reel. Otherwise standard equipment.
