ASICS SportStyle

We have always believed in the positive effects of exercise on body and mind. That is also the reason why we are called ASICS. It's an acronym from the Latin proverb "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano", or a healthy mind in a healthy body.

Our founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka, recognised that sport had the power to lift the spirits of people in post-war Japan. That's why he dedicated his life and our company to helping both individuals and society improve their well-being through sport. More than 70 years later, we still believe in it.
