This is what your mid-range gaming PC could look like

What should I give as a Christmas present? It’s the same question every year. That’s where we want to help you, and as experts on the editorial team, we’re giving you some very personal tips.
As an editor for PC components, peripherals and 3D printing, I’m reluctant to give gift recommendations. The stuff is either too expensive because of the semiconductor crisis, or it’s simply not available. Be as it may, here come my three present ideas to gift yourself.
1. Let components be components
Getting a new gaming PC is awesome. However, this currently also means spending a small fortune. So here’s my two cents: don’t pay any attention to PC components this year. Keep your current PC and wait for better days. With the money you’ve saved, you can go out with your loved ones and spend it on them. Even in wintertime, it’s nice to be out in the fresh air.
Feel like something really special? In that case, I advise you to take part in a so-called group buy. How does it work? Team up with others and pay somebody to produce a keyboard kit by order. Find current group buys here.
3. Create something unique and make someone else happy
Of course, my list wouldn’t be complete without a 3D printer. The Ender 3 V2 is perfect for beginners. Although it’s essentially a kit, setting up and firing up is quick and easy. You can then use it to print various useful or useless things and give them to your loved ones as gifts.
