You can connect the CadMouse Wireless to your computer in three ways. For wireless connectivity, you can choose between a direct Bluetooth connection and the included USB universal receiver. You can operate multiple wireless peripherals from 3Dconnexion, such as the SpaceMouse or SpaceMouse Pro, through the same receiver, allowing them to occupy only one USB port together. The third option is a wired connection using the included USB cable, which also serves to charge the battery.

The intelligent second-generation scroll wheel is perfectly tailored to the needs of professional CAD users. The controllable scroll speed makes it easier to find specific content in browsers and extensive documents, allowing for more precise control over your drawings and 3D designs. With the QuickZoom function, you can effortlessly zoom in and center your drawing or 3D model with just one click on one of the thumb buttons. To fine-tune, simply hold the button until the desired view is reached. This enhances the clarity and effectiveness of your workflow.

With the radial menu button, you can open an application- or environment-specific on-screen menu that provides quick access to up to 8 freely definable commands. To execute a command, simply hover the mouse cursor over it or click on the command.
