The underestimated heat source, RAM, has been challenged with the Alphacool D-RAM cooler system. With these modules, the memory chips are securely fastened into the modules using the included thermal pads to achieve optimal cooling results. After installation, the separately available D-RAM coolers are screwed in place in the required size. For optimal heat transfer between the module and the cooler, it is recommended to apply a very thin layer of thermal paste. Also compatible with older D-RAM coolers.
