The 8- and 16-Port RackMount KVM switches from APC fit on a desk or can be mounted in 1U of rack space. The daisy-chain compatible units manage up to 512 servers using a keyboard, monitor, and mouse. The KVM switches support multiple platforms (PS/2, USB, or SUN), use slimmer cables for better cable management, are firmware upgradeable, and allow for connecting and disconnecting servers without turning off the KVM. LEDs on the front of all units indicate which channels are active. Use hotkeys or the on-screen display to easily switch between connected servers. Reduce hardware costs, save space, decrease heat generation, and lower power consumption with APC RackMount KVMs.
