I've actually long since given up the idea of using a desktop PC. The new Mac mini could change that. To put it bluntly: never before has a computer with so little volume had so much power. You could easily think of taking it with you when travelling instead of a notebook. At your destination, however, you'll have to find a monitor or television to plug it into.
