The Display Stream Compression technology (DSC) of the ROG Strix XG27UQR allows for 4K graphics and a refresh rate of 144 Hz over a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection by compressing and decompressing each individual frame in real-time without visual loss in image quality.
The ROG Strix XG27UQR boasts an extremely high refresh rate of 144 Hz and a 1 ms response time (MPRT), ensuring that even fast-paced, action-packed games are displayed smoothly and completely lag-free at the highest detail settings.
With Adaptive Sync (G-SYNC Compatible Ready), the ROG Strix XG27UQR provides a seamless gaming experience without tearing. For NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards, the VRR feature is enabled by default. G-SYNC Compatible is currently undergoing certification.
The ROG Strix XG27UQR supports HDR technology across a wide range of brightness levels (up to 400 cd/m²), delivering a broader color spectrum and higher contrast than conventional monitors. Technically, the Asus ROG Strix XG43UQ is up to date. Only more dimmable backlight zones would be desirable. The monitor is fun to use in games, but only in a limited fps range. The quirks with the incorrectly dosed overdrive and the black aura around highlights in HDR mode with active backlight dimming are unworthy of a 1500-euro display...
