Energy-efficient power distribution for IT devices. The 3-phase PDUs of the ATEN PG98 series (metered-switched by-outlet) come with 6 x IEC 60320 C19 and 24 x IEC 60320 C13 outlets, as well as a 0U rack housing. The PG98 series features an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and offers flexible control methods through its LAN, COM, USB, and environmental sensor ports, while being able to power on all connected devices in less than 10 seconds once plugged in. To save costs and space, the PG98 series can be cascaded to connect up to 64 PDU units. This addresses the increasing demand for power for high-density IT devices in server rooms and data centers. In terms of hardware, these PDUs are equipped with built-in energy-saving relays, a subtype of electromagnetic switches that help operators control large amounts of power, resulting in lower energy consumption compared to relay models that are not energy-efficient.
