The AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit provides a smart and easy-to-install solution for expanding your network and PoE coverage. Axis network products are not limited to the 100 m constraint of Ethernet cables, allowing for installation over greater distances. Simply connect the AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit in series with CAT5e or CAT6 cables, and power and data will be transmitted to your Axis network devices. The AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit supports both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at compliant devices. With its robust design, the AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit is well-equipped for harsh environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.

Bridging Distances

With a single AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit, a connection can be established over distances of 200–1,000 meters. The product automatically configures the connection speed, duplex, and crossover. The range depends on the type of cable used, the desired data rate, and the required power. The AXIS Long Range PoE Extender Kit can be powered via standard IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at midspans and switches or the AXIS T8003 PS57 for maximum range and power.
