Product details

Acoustically optimised and with a new, attractive design, the T5 high-end headphones from beyerdynamic are now in their third generation. The closed design makes the T5 particularly suitable for use in louder environments, and thanks to its low impedance, it can also be easily connected to mobile devices.
The T5 utilises the Tesla transducers developed by beyerdynamic, which are individually measured and matched in pairs to guarantee maximum sound precision and natural reproduction. The special arrangement of the transducers also ensures an extremely spatialised reproduction, which shifts the music to the stage, just like in a concert.
The T5 has plug-in cables made from high-purity OCC 7N copper for the best possible signal transmission to the headphones. The balanced connection cables available as accessories offer further potential for sound optimisation.
High-quality materials such as finely brushed, anodised aluminium and Alcantara not only give the T5 an elegant design, but also guarantee a long service life. Replaceable ear pads, which adapt particularly well to the wearer thanks to "memory foam", ensure a high level of wearing comfort and long, carefree listening pleasure.

Not every pair of Bluetooth headphones is suitable for everyone. Some sound great, others sit better in the ear when jogging. Some models shine with super-long battery life, others as a headset in the home office. You can find your personal test winner with the help of our database...

Not quite on the reference level of the T1, but close: the T5's closed construction makes it an excellent companion for travel and sporting activities.

The T5 from Beyerdynamic are true sound masters for every application. We see them in the professional sound studio as well as in the living room at home. Their somewhat more direct reproduction compared to the T5s allows listeners to find themselves in the smallest details of the music. But the overall sound experience is never lost from sight, no ear.

The 3rd generation Beyerdynamic T5 is suitable for use with mobile devices. It develops amazing dynamics even on smartphones and achieves high levels. Its bass has a crisper punch and even more substance at the bottom than that of the open T1. On the other hand, the closed T5 sounds a bit more forward and compact. For younger pop fans, however, it is more impressive.

That is really a difficult decision. In the test, both versions left a lasting impression on me, whereby I particularly liked the effervescence and playfulness of the T1. On the other hand, I liked the earthy low bass of the T5. Well, actually I want both - if only the wallet would play along!
