Product details

Whatever the story, the EOS R5 Mark II speaks your language. Shoot with breakneck speed and incredible resolution, and capture next-level video. All this from an agile camera body that inspires creativity from the moment you hold it.

High-resolution photos and superb 8K 60p RAW video. This ultrafast, stacked sensor design minimises distortion in moving objects and allows blackout-free continuous shooting.

Sharp focus is maintained on moving subjects, even when briefly obscured from view. Action Priority mode detects players in football, basketball and volleyball, moving the active AF point in response to specific actions – such as a shot on goal made from a high-speed pass.

Use the full width of the EOS R5 Mark II’s sensor to shoot sensational 8K footage – rich in detail and crop-friendly during editing. 8K 60p Light RAW portrays moving subjects with silky smooth motion. 12-bit colour depth offers fine gradation and wide dynamic range.

Shoot 8K 30p video for up to four times longer, thanks to the cooling function build in to the optional Cooling Fan CF-R20EP grip.

The EOS R5 Mark II’s refined 8.5-stop in-body Image Stabilizer effectively smooths out any unintentional camera movement when working handheld. Create footage so smooth you’d think it was shot using a gimbal or dolly.

Designed for professional hybrid shooters covering events . With the EOS R5 Mark II’s Dual Shooting function switched on, a press of the shutter-release button while shooting Full HD video captures 7680x4320 (8K) JPG photos at up to 7.5fps using the same shutter speed – all without interrupting video capture.

The EOS R5 Mark II is built to the exacting standards that serious image makers have come to love. Moisture and dust-resistant seals protect the camera in harsh environments. A magnesium alloy chassis is tough enough for professional use.

Camcorders have increasingly disappeared from the street scene in recent years. This is due to the fact that the devices have faced strong competition from two sides. On the one hand, smartphones now also offer the option of making high-quality 4K recordings. And on the other hand, modern system cameras have now reached a level in terms of videography that they are even used for professional television...

With the EOS R5 Mark II, Canon has made a great leap forward. Thanks to "Accelerated Capture" technology, the electronic shutter is almost on a par with the mechanical shutter, the autofocus system is suitable for sports with the action priority mode, which also applies to the continuous shooting mode with 30 fps with E-shutter and pre-recording...

Whether image quality, speed or features: with the Lumix S1RII, Panasonic has one of the best mirrorless full-frame cameras on sale - and at a moderate price compared to the competition. In the test field, only the Sony Alpha 1 II, which is more than twice as expensive, performs better...

Canon's new professional flagship impresses across the board when tested. The EOS R1 should be the first choice, especially for photographers who spend a lot of time travelling in the high-ISO range. However, the full-frame competition also has strong cameras on sale. Nikon's top models are significantly cheaper and Sony has an even faster camera in its portfolio with the Alpha 9 Ill, as well as the...

Sony's new flagship comes in ahead of the EOS R5 Mark Il in our list of the best, but is also the most expensive at 7500 euros. Image quality, speed and features are excellent. Depending on individual preferences, the lack of a status display, the integrated raw converter or multiple exposures could be annoying - but that would be complaining at an extremely high level.
