The CT3504 WLAN Controller is optimized for 802.11ac Wave 2 and ready for Cisco DNA (Digital Network Architecture). This compact device is scalable, feature-rich, and flexible, designed to manage next-generation wireless networks in medium-sized enterprises and branch offices. As a component of the Cisco Unified Wireless Network, the 3504 Controller enables real-time communication between Cisco Aironet Access Points, the Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and the Cisco Mobility Service Engine. With centralized control, management, and troubleshooting, the 3504 Wireless Controller offers maximum flexibility. It has multiple deployment modes: a centralized mode for campus environments, Cisco FlexConnect mode for branches managed over WAN, and a mesh (bridge) mode for situations where full cabling with Ethernet is not feasible.
