Cokin BX100 - Filter holder for the X Pro series

The filter holder is, quite literally, the central element of the Cokin plug-in filter system. The adapter ring is screwed into the lens's thread, allowing the Cokin filter holder to be attached to it. The filter plate can then be easily slid into the holder from above. The advantage is clear: instead of purchasing an expensive screw filter for each lens in your camera bag, you only need a significantly cheaper adapter ring in the appropriate size. Graduated filters can be moved variably depending on the composition of the image, providing creative freedom for photographers and filmmakers. Cokin's X-Pro series is aimed, as the name suggests, at professionals in the field, specifically users of full-frame cameras, large wide-angle lenses, and/or generally fast lenses with a diameter greater than 62 mm. The filter size is essentially the XL version of the system. The adapter rings for this are available in all common sizes from 62 mm to 112 mm in diameter.
