The Alpha-Omega-Ultra is the most versatile bass fortress designed by Darkglass. With its two different distortion circuits (Alpha and Omega), extremely high dynamic range, six-band active graphic EQ, dedicated headphone output, and balanced direct output, it is an incredibly comprehensive instrument for the modern bassist. Features blend clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain, while the volume of the processed signal is adjusted with the level knob, allowing for precise mixing. It sets the volume of the processed signal in relation to the gain of the primary signal. Bite enhances the high mid frequencies (2.8 kHz) for added presence and definition. Growl boosts provides a thicker sound and more low-end saturation. In the Darkglass Suite, you can switch between Alpha and Omega using a footswitch with the Mod switch. The master, which controls the output of the overdrive section, adjusts the master volume, the overall volume of the device. It's ideal for fine-tuning the output in clean mode. It also serves as a DI and headphone volume control. The volume is not affected by this controller when the pedal is in bypass mode. Old lifts the signal ground on the direct output to break all ground loops. Engage this switch for less noise in the stand. The switch does not affect the ¼ output. With this switch, all digital circuits are completely bypassed, allowing you to receive a signal without delay if needed. Use the master volume control to adjust the level. The pedal is powered by a standard 9V power supply (not included).
