The Digitus DA-71116 RAID SATA enclosure offers the ideal solution to protect your important data from loss. With the RAID1 function, data can be mirrored, meaning that the data is stored identically on both hard drives. In RAID0, the data is split block-wise between the two drives. Another option of the enclosure is the JBOD function, which allows two hard drives to be combined into a single logical drive. In normal mode, both drives are displayed as separate drives. The configuration of the different modes is done via a DIP switch inside the enclosure. The USB 3.0 connection of the enclosure provides fast data transfer between the source and the enclosure. The RAID enclosure can also be connected to a NAS or a router with a USB port and NAS functionality, allowing it to be used within your network.
