One of the most well-known products made from ABS is Lego bricks. Whether ABS filament is the best choice for the 3D object to be printed depends on various factors such as the intended use and the equipment of the 3D printer. Since ABS filament is processed at high temperatures, the 3D printer must be equipped with a heated bed. Cooling is not required but can offer advantages. Compared to PLA, ABS filament is more stable and has a higher heat tolerance. However, ABS filament is more prone to warping.
