In the line of Eastman's SB models, the SB57 is the muscular brother of the SB56 and is based on the legendary black beauty. It features a double-bound body, neck, and headstock. Naturally black, but finished in Eastman's antique lacquer with an aged finish and black cherry accents. The black finish allows you to still see the underlying flame maple top: beautiful! The SB57 consists of a single mahogany body with a curved maple top, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The pickups are custom imperial aged humbuckers from Lordar with standard LP wiring, producing remarkably open and tone-friendly sounds. You can expect beautiful, clean tones from this guitar, as well as crazy crunch and lead sounds. Eastman uses only the best parts: Jecar fretwire, CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, and Gotoh tuners.
