The EW7049 screwless 2.5 inch SATA HDD/SSD enclosure is the perfect solution for storing and sharing your favorite videos, pictures, and files. Easily install your hard disk or SSD thanks to the screwless mounting design. The USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB 3.0) connection allows for a maximum data throughput of up to 5 Gbit/s.

Super Speed USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB 3.0) support
The EW7049 features SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB 3.0). With UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) support, data transfer speeds can reach a maximum rate of up to 5 Gbit/s. The hard disk enclosure comes with a USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB 3.0) cable.

Easy to install
Installing a hard disk or SSD is very simple thanks to the screwless mounting design of the EW7049. You are only three steps away from taking your favorite files with you. First, open the enclosure. Second, connect the hard disk to the SATA connector, and finally close the enclosure. The EW7049 is ready to connect to your notebook or computer. The included USB connection cable provides the necessary power for your hard disk via your laptop or computer.

Backwards compatible with USB 2.0
If your computer does not have a USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB 3.0) port, you can connect the EW7049 enclosure to your USB 2.0 port.
