Product details
PoE Extralink EUROS v2 Switch
This is a 6-port unmanaged switch with 4 PoE ports, offering a maximum speed of 100 Mbps and supporting IEEE 802.3af/at, with a maximum power per port of up to 30W. The switch also features 2 RJ45 ports without PoE power supply options, which can be used as uplink ports or to connect additional devices, such as video recording devices in surveillance applications.
Four additional operating modes of the PoE switch
On the front of the EUROS v2 switch, there are four switches that allow you to activate additional modes to enhance network performance or range. Below are the operating principles of each mode:
VLAN Mode - When this mode is activated, ports 1-4 are isolated from each other, effectively suppressing broadcast storms and improving network performance.
EXTEND Mode - This mode allows ports 1-4 to effectively transmit data and PoE power over distances of up to 250 meters, making it ideal for video surveillance systems.
AI QoS Mode - In this mode, video data is prioritized to ensure smooth playback, primarily used in surveillance solutions.
AI PS Mode - The switch automatically detects the operational status of the device connected to one of the PoE ports. If it determines that the device is not functioning properly, it automatically restarts the device.
Power over Ethernet
The EUROS v2 switch supports the IEEE 802.3 af/at standards, automatically detecting and identifying PoE devices that comply with these standards and supplying them with power. There is no need to worry about devices that do not require power over PoE, as the switch will not supply power to those devices. The maximum power supply that can be connected to the switch is 60W.
