You can connect TV sets, AV receivers, and a video projector simultaneously and even use them in parallel. This also works with a television and a home theater receiver with HDMI input or a computer monitor. It supports video resolutions up to 4K. Through EDID, the connected devices communicate their capabilities, including supported picture resolution and audio format. If you want to operate displays with different resolutions, you can influence the output signal via the EDID switch. If the HDMI source delivers a 4K signal, it will be scaled down to 1080p for a Full HD TV. HDR is supported in Copy-EDID and Mixed-EDID modes.
