In single-player mode, a virus spreads across the Earth after aliens have invaded, and nations are fighting to defend themselves. United armies from around the world have been formed to stop the invasion, but to no avail. The aliens are far more advanced. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, they are capable of cloning humans! We are no longer aware of who we are fighting against! Humans?

The aliens have breached all defense lines, and our armies have been defeated. Human aliens surround us, as we call them. Some humans will be infected, leading to chaos as they become walking dead.
