The Running Dynamics Pod module includes an accelerometer that measures body movements to calculate six parameters for running efficiency.

Cadence is the number of steps per minute. It indicates the total number of steps taken (combined for both right and left).

The ground contact time balance shows the ratio (left/right) of your ground contact time while running. It is expressed as a percentage. For example, it may be displayed as 53.2, along with an arrow pointing left or right.

Stride length is the distance of your step from one footfall to the next. It is measured in meters.

Vertical oscillation refers to the up-and-down movement while running. It shows the vertical movement of the upper body in centimeters for each step.

The vertical ratio describes the relationship of vertical oscillation to stride length. It is expressed as a percentage. A lower value typically indicates better running form or technique.

Ground contact time is the time per step that you spend on the ground while running. It is measured in milliseconds.
