When it comes to action cameras, the name GoPro comes up immediately. No wonder, since the company has made the segment popular. Surprisingly, GoPro currently only has one 360-degree camera in its range, the GoPro Max. The action cam, which is waterproof up to five metres, has two 180° wide-angle lenses that are slightly offset from each other...
The GoPro Max has been on the market for quite some time and is therefore losing some ground to its current competitors from Ricoh and insta360. However, it is now available for street prices of under 430 euros and thus earns itself an award as a price-performance winner.
The name says it all, the GoPro Hero Max is quite a hunk - after all, it has two action cams inside. One films in the direction of travel or flight, the other in the filmmaker's face. Together, this results in a 360-degree panorama from which the desired perspective can be continuously selected during playback or editing - in excellent quality thanks to 4K. Boring videos are a thing of the past.
Already when unpacking and during the first operating steps, it is noticeable that the Gopro developers want to make it as easy as possible for the user.
