All in all, the new GoPro Hero12 Black ascends the action cam throne. In terms of image quality, it is still the measure of all things. The new model also has a practical Bluetooth function and better battery life. However, with similarly good video quality, even better battery life and the better mouting system, the Osmo Action 4 is a good alternative...
The Hero 11 Black is by far the best GoPro to date. It is absolutely worth the only slightly higher price compared to the Hero 10. However, if you can find a Hero 10 at a favourable on-sale price, this may well be a good alternative. Owners of previous GoPros will probably be able to stick with their existing models for a while, but the improved sensor in particular is very tempting...
The Hero 11 works reliably, offers good image stabilisation and, at 61 minutes, runs significantly longer than its predecessor. But despite the new battery, it unfortunately still struggles with thermal problems. They make recordings over 25 minutes almost impossible as long as you are not on the cooling snow slope...
