Robust electronic instrument housing made from aluminum die-cast alloy (tough yet easy to machine). The overlapping construction provides protection against dust and splashes. It also ensures improved EMI/RFI shielding. Includes screws that are screwed into factory-threaded holes. The type and number of screws may vary. The standard versions meet the IP54 protection rating. Waterproof versions meet the IP65 protection rating and include a gasket that is supplied loose in the housing (not pre-installed).
