The Homematic IP DALI Gateway for DIN rail mounting reliably controls DALI lights directly from the distribution cabinet and integrates them intelligently into the Homematic IP Smart Home System. With a DALI Gateway, up to 32 DALI lights – such as fluorescent lamps, discharge lamps, low-voltage halogen lamps, dimmers for incandescent lamps, conversion to DC (0-10V), LED modules, switching functions, as well as color and color temperature control – can be perfectly dimmed and switched. The DALI Gateway can be easily retrofitted into an existing installation with DALI lights and fits neatly into the distribution cabinet. Already installed Homematic IP buttons and switches can be easily reused and integrated. After installation, DALI lights can be searched for and assigned within the gateway. Control of up to 16 light groups is possible. The lights can be switched and dimmed with many Homematic IP devices, such as a Homematic IP wireless remote control. Through the free Homematic IP app, the DALI lights in the Smart Home can also be conveniently operated from a smartphone. Installation is done on standard DIN rails in house and sub-distributions. The spring-loaded terminals allow for easy connection of DALI lights to both rigid and flexible cables. The large illuminated LC display of the gateway allows for direct control and testing of the DALI lights without needing to learn them after connecting to the bus. Setup can be done either via the free smartphone app with a fee-free cloud service through the Homematic IP Access Point or with the locally operated CCU3 central unit. Alternatively, integration via numerous partner solutions is possible.
