Cassettes can be equipped with barcode labels carrying customer-specified number sequences at no additional cost. HPE tests its precision-engineered, high-resolution barcode labels using unique software from the HPE Automation Group to assess and ensure the quality of the labels. The labels are professionally applied in a clean environment to guarantee 100% readability, as well as precise storage and retrieval in extremely demanding automated tape libraries. For user-specific labeled cassettes, 100% readability is guaranteed. They can be ordered online in packs of 20. Customers who value additional RFID security can integrate RFID transponders into each label at minimal cost. The RFID transponder is integrated on the back of the custom label and provides advantages for all companies using systems to track IT resources in terms of traceability, verification, and security.
