The InLine PoE++ Gigabit Network Switch is a fast and flexible solution for upgrading an existing network to the Power over Ethernet system IEEE 802.3af / 802.at / 802.3bt, as well as for connecting via fiber optics to cover greater distances. The switch provides protection against overload, overvoltage, and overheating at each port. Additionally, the switch supports PoE according to IEEE 802.3af/at on ports 5-16 with up to 32 watts, as well as PoE++ according to IEEE 802.3bt with up to 60 watts output power on ports 1-4 per port via a Cat. 5e/6/6A/8.1 Ethernet cable, with a PoE budget of 300W and a combined total power of 330W. The 16x 10/100/1000 MBit/s PoE ports solve the problem of a limited number of available outlets and provide system administrators with a flexible solution to power network devices such as PoE-capable IP cameras or wireless access points (including those with heating) almost anywhere. The switch's menu can be password-protected to prevent unauthorized access.
