With Intel Turbo Boost, the processor achieves a single-core max boost of 4.4 GHz, while all 4 cores (and 8 threads) are automatically overclocked to a boost clock of up to 4.4 GHz. Depending on the type of application, the Core i3-10105F consistently delivers optimal performance thanks to the automatic boost clock. "Comet Lake-S" is the name of the 10th generation of Intel Core processors. In addition to increased clock speeds compared to the "Coffee Lake-S Refresh" of the 9th generation, "Comet Lake-S" supports higher memory speeds and offers support for Intel WiFi 6 (Gig+). However, the most significant change is the switch to the new LGA 1200 socket. This socket is the same size as its predecessor but has additional pins, making "Comet Lake-S" processors incompatible with motherboards that use a different socket.

The Intel Core i3-10100F is the most affordable offshoot of the Core i processors based on the Comet Lake-S architecture. Especially in games, the processor can outperform our old price-performance winner, the Ryzen 5 1600 [12nm], as well as the Ryzen 3 3100. For a price of around 80 euros, it is thus ideally suited for low-priced gaming PCs and is accordingly also used in our low-cost gaming PC configurations...
