Product details
The Intellinet media converter integrates fiber optic cables into an existing copper cable network for a cost-effective and low-effort LAN upgrade. It operates transparently – performance and functionality remain unchanged, and the network is simply enhanced to support both media – copper and fiber. Greater range: With fiber optic support, even distant workgroups can be integrated into your network. Building-to-building connections are easily achievable without additional access points. Flexibility in cabling: Due to its compact design, this converter can be used in desktop applications with limited space as well as in wall-mounted enclosures. Multiple converters can also be installed in an Intellinet 19" media converter chassis.
