The Jinbei Umbrella Deep Softbox offers numerous options for light shaping. The two included diffusers, the smaller inner diffuser and the front diffuser, scatter the light reflected by the silver interior coating, creating soft shadow transitions for homogeneous illumination.

Additionally, they reduce the formation of reflections on smooth surfaces like skin, which is why they are commonly used in portrait and beauty photography. The 16-sided construction results in an almost round softbox shape, which is noticeable in the naturally appearing round light reflections in a model's eyes. With the included grid, you achieve more intense, directed light. The grid allows you to illuminate your subject more precisely and with greater control. When using the honeycomb grid without diffusers, you work with harder, more contrasty, and direct light.
