The VR-250 lens support accommodates larger lenses as well as the camera, stabilizing the entire setup. At the rear end of the lens support, there is an adjustable plate with a ¼” screw for attaching the camera. This is screwed into the tripod thread at the bottom of the camera, reducing the load on the bayonet mount. Balancing, for example on a gimbal head, is also made significantly easier with the use of the VR-250 lens support. The 250 mm long Arca base allows for quick and secure attachment of the lens support to any Arca-Swiss compatible tripod head.
