The POEINJ-15W is a single Gigabit PoE (Power over Ethernet) device with two RJ45 ports, one port for Ethernet data input and another port for integrated data and power output. Since the power supply itself does not have data switching functionality, it must work in conjunction with a network switch. It combines the data from the network switch with the power supply and transmits both data and power over the network cable to the remote powered terminal. This can resolve layout constraints due to technical power lines.
