Product details
The main function of the Line Level Shifter is to adjust the signal voltage between -10 dBu and +4 dBV, depending on the direction it is switched. The Line Level Shifter also interrupts interference that causes ground hum and noise, and it converts between balanced and unbalanced connections. This prevents the cable from acting as an antenna for noise. Simply place one channel of the Line Level Shifter on the cable connections between the two unbalanced devices. The Line Level Shifter does not degrade audio quality; rather, it enhances it. We use 1/4" jacks that accept any combination of unbalanced (TS) or balanced (TRS) plugs. These are passive devices (no power supply required) housed in cold-rolled steel enclosures, with hand-soldered circuit boards and high-quality components and hardware.
