The power meter measures current and voltage values using the connected current transformers and measuring cables. From this, the active, reactive, and apparent power are determined and transmitted to a terminal device via Wi-Fi in one-second intervals. The data is stored historically and can subsequently be analyzed in tabular or graphical form. Additionally, it is possible to export the measurement results to a terminal device. Measurements with the power meter are conducted using Rogowski coils or clamp-on current transformers. If there is no internet connection, the data can be recorded in the built-in 32 GB SD card memory as a CSV file for later processing. Even with one-second recording intervals, the recording duration exceeds one year. There is also the option to periodically send the CSV files via email, upload them to a server via FTP, or transfer them to the measurement platform after the measurement is completed. Interaction with the power meter primarily occurs via Wi-Fi and a web browser or through an app. The power supply and measurement are done using magnetic measurement probes or connection terminals. The power meter can be connected to any main or sub-distribution board as well as to devices and systems without interrupting the power supply. Thanks to its magnetic back, the power meter can be attached to any metallic surface. Managing the power supply is of utmost priority. Without measuring consumption and capturing instrumental values such as current, voltage, frequency, and power, improving efficiency is hardly possible. The energy meter enables monitoring of total energy consumption and helps reduce energy costs.
