Product details
The BDP-X300 showcases technological advancement in a most pleasant way: This universal disc player brings both image and sound to life with technologies that were only recently either very expensive or not available at all.
The state-of-the-art video engine performs astonishingly by converting conventional HD content from Blu-ray discs or the integrated video streamer into credible 4K Ultra HD. The screencast standard Miracast brings daily joy when paired with the built-in WiFi, as it allows the screen content of a tablet to be beamed to the TV with just a tap. And for those who occasionally want to listen to their player through a stereo system, the BDP-X300 is once again appreciated for its high-quality conversion department, which can compete sonically with dedicated CD players.
On compatible Pioneer receivers, the BDP-X300 can even leverage an additional advantage with PQLS, which exclusively benefits the audio transmission over the HDMI cable. This transfer is inherently susceptible to jitter, meaning fluctuations in the data clock that can result in distortions after conversion. Pioneer addresses this issue at its root in the BDP-X300: When the player works with a PQLS-compatible receiver, the receiver takes over the timing of the audio data, effectively eliminating jitter and resulting in a more focused and clearer sound.
