The Elemental is "plug'n'play" through and through. No tedious assembly of counterweight or anti-skating is necessary, as everything is already pre-set. The low-mass tonearm is specially optimised for the Ortofon OM cartridges, which are also pre-assembled. All the buyer has to do is unpack it, remove the platter transport lock, put the belt around the platter, remove the stylus guard and connect it. Only the stylus guard is made of plastic.
