Just like the other new digital radios, Pop Mini bears the "Digital Tick" seal of approval, which signifies the ability to switch from FM to digital radio in the future. Other functions include a highly visible clock, two alarm clocks, an additional input, and DAB digital and FM radio. For listening on the go with Pop Mini, you can use an environmentally friendly ChargePAK D1 battery pack or optional AA alkaline batteries.

DAB digital radio provides detailed sound in digital quality and access to numerous channels, many of which are exclusive to digital radio. In addition to a wider selection, the large digital radio displays give you access to information on the station you have selected, including the title of the current track, the name of the radio programme, and much more. Digital radios automatically find all available stations and allow selection by station name. In addition, this device offers FM reception from transmitters that have not yet switched to digital technology.
