Adonit Pixel
Unfortunately not. This product is only compatible with the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
As seen on the Adonit Website it should be compatible with Ipad 5th Gen. "What devices will Pixel work with? - Pixel will work just like your finger on any capacitive touch screen device. Features like pressure sensitivity, palm-rejection, Pixelpoint technology, and use of shortcut buttons require an iOS device with Bluetooth 4.0. - Compatible Devices: iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 8, 8 Plus, X, Xs, Xr, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 (5th generation)." The pen works when the application supports it. Basically very fine in terms of pressure point and strength. For normal writing possible with all apps on all Ipads. For drawing, as mentioned, it depends on Bluetooth and the individual app.
The Adonit Pixel was designed specifically for Apple devices as an alternative to the Apple Pencil and unfortunately not Windows 10. Alternatively, I can recommend the Adonit Dash 2: Adonit Dash 2 (Black)
I once used the Adonit with an iPad 12'. Was disappointed. Exchanged it for the Apple Pencil after a short time. I have now been working enthusiastically with the Apple Pencil and mainly the GoodNotes app for over a year. Also due to input from other users, I am of the opinion: Only use the Apple Pen for Apple devices!
