I have a 4G router from TP-Link with a corresponding SIM card with a fixed monthly data allowance (e.g. 150GB). Can I connect this router to the Asus router via LAN cable or does this only work with an Asus router?

You can connect the TP-Link 4G router to the ASUS router via a LAN cable. The ASUS router supports connection via LAN, but it does not have an integrated 4G modem function. You can use the TP-Link router as a backup Internet connection by connecting it to the ASUS router via a LAN cable. Note, however, that the dual WAN function must be configured via the ASUS router's web GUI.

Hello Adrian 1974 No, you don't have to. I have 3 devices in a mesh network via WiFi. The devices also use a separate channel for this. However, it is important that the devices have a good connection - i.e. the positioning is relevant.

Does anyone else have the problem that the (glued-on) cover on the top comes off? It happened to me on the first day. This is a case for support, I just want to know if this is a general problem with the devices.

Does this system enable to replace easily Swisscom original router without any issue? Do both internet + TV work without specific settings to be manually input?

We didn't test this product in those circumstances. We recommend you to check first with Swisscom, because it would depend on your contract you have with.

hi. we live in an old house. on the ground floor is the gigabox from cablecom one floor up is directly the computer (no it is not possible to make 1 cable through the 1 m thick ceiling) i have a linksys velop system that works great. can i now just take the part in addition to put the next to computer for more speed at the computer to have? the downloads are not getting any smaller

Normally this is possible. However, it must apparently be activated in the menu. Unfortunately we have no further information.

A more general question: I have the swisscom internet box wall-mounted in my hallway, it provides wifi and tv. My office is in a bedroom on the other side of the house. This distance is not so large, but there is much concrete in between. Is this Asus AX6600 a suitable way to bring much better wifi strength to my office - or do I need a pair of them, or...?
