This module is not a DDR3L. Try with this module. DDR3 with L (!). L works with a lower voltage: V7 V7128008GBS-LV (1 x 8GB, DDR3L-1600 (PC3-12800), SO-DIMM 204 pin) You can also use this tool to see which module is already integrated (choose "ZIP english"). https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
I wouldn't invest any more money in this notebook. The CPU performance of a Lenovo T420 is simply no longer up to date. I would therefore invest the money in a new device. The best CPU, which was installed in the T420 at the time, achieved just under 2500 in the Passmark Peformance Test. Today, these values are already surpassed by an Intel Celeron N4125 processor, which can be found in almost all notebooks from 250 francs upwards. Here is a Passmark representation of the computing performance (fastest CPU in the T420 vs Celeron vs Pentium Gold 11th Gen): https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Intel-i7-2620M-vs-Intel-Celeron-N4120-vs-Intel-Pentium-Gold-7505/872vs3651vs3909 It's a bit of a shame, but I'm afraid a new notebook will do a lot more good. The cheapest Windows 10/11 compatible notebook would be the HP 250 G8. It has 8GB RAM, Windows 10 and a new 11th Gen Pentium Gold 7505 processor installed that is more than twice as fast as the best T420 machine. And the crazy thing is that the HP 250 G8 is already available for 379 francs, including a Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels on 15.6 inches. Hi, I think it works, the specs are exactly the same as the Synology Ram module RAM1600DDR3-4GB.

Based on your specifications: SK Hynix 4GB 1Rx8 PC3L-12800S If the article no. is: HMT451S6BFR8A-PB, then the RAM bar has the following timings CL11 / TRCD11 / TRP11 Voltage 1.35 V, Speed 1600 MHz Corsair: Values from the kit à 1 bar CMSO4GX3M1C1600C11: SPD: Speed 1600MHz; Latency 9-9-9-24, Voltage 1.35 V and Tested: Speed 1600MHz, Latency 11-11-11-28, Voltage 1.35V https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kategorien/Produkte/Arbeitsspeicher/Mainstream-Speicher/Corsair-Memory---4GB-DDR3L-SODIMM-Memory/p/CMSO4GX3M1C1600C11#tab-tech-specs CMSO8GX3M2C1600C11 is the kit with 2 bars each. It works. You have to pay attention to the timings and voltage in the BIOS.
Good day Ovo, I have installed the above components on a MackBook Pro id 2012. Should also work on a 2010 type. For the increase in performance, I have cloned the hard disk on a SSD module 250 GB Samsung.

No, it does not work 100%. Lg computershop24
Unfortunately, this memory is incompatible with a MacBook Pro mid-2012.
According to Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201191 27" 2012-mid 2015 Use Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Modules (SO-DIMM) that meet all of these criteria: PC3-12800 Unbuffered Nonparity 204-pin 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM Installed ok in a 2014 27" iMac.
Good day Macbook Pro Retina the RAM is soldered and can NOT be exchanged or extended! ** For the Macbook Pro mid 2012 use memory with 204pin's DDR3 1600MHz. This one should work, but I would rather use "Kingston".
Hello No! they are DIMM 240pin and for your Apple IMAC you need SO-DIMM 204pin. Here you will find all the information you need for your RAM type: https://support.apple.com/de-ch/HT201191
Unfortunately, the requested memory is not compatible with the "HP 8200 Elite Desktop".
