Can this product be used to connect 2 screens in extended desktop mode? On a MacBook Air M2, which only supports one screen, unlike the M3, which can connect 2 screens without any problem. Thank you for your reply.

Does this product use DisplayLink to extend the screen to the monitor? I already bought a docking station but unfortunately cannot use it as it is using DisplayLink which is unfortunately not usable with the software that I need to use. I am looking for an adapter/docking station which connects the monitors directly using thunderbolt to HDMI Adapter without DisplayLink.

It doesn't use DisplayLink, but it also does not allow M chips that are limited to one external monitor to have more than one. It would work with M2 and M3 Pro / Max models natively for two external monitors.
