In a Youtube video (Germany) it is mentioned that even with the attachment of a filter to the lens, which is included with the Fly more Combo, the 249g would be exceeded and it is the pilot's responsibility to ensure that the limit is not exceeded. It would be interesting to find out exactly what the legal situation is, because as a customer I buy a device in good faith that is certified as 249g and C0 and as long as I don't make any changes to it, I don't see why I should weigh the thing.

It looks as if DJI is currently only offering the Fly More Combo with the RC2. A version with the "normal" remote control does not seem to be available at the moment, DJI has probably adapted the bundles accordingly. It is possible that the standard remote control will continue to be available separately, but DJI is probably increasingly focussing on the RC2 in the official combos.

I was able to do some research and according to the manufacturer's specifications, the maximum supported smartphone dimensions are as follows: - 180×86×10 mm (L×W×H) If the smartphone is larger including the case, it would have to be clamped without the case. The iPhone 17 Pro Max without case: Dimensions: 163.4 mm x 78.0 mm x 8.75 mm (L x W x H)

Yes, the drone has a FollowMe function, which is suitable for activities such as cycling. It utilises the improved ActiveTrack 360° system, which allows the device to reliably track people or objects, even when moving in different directions. The function is controlled via the DJI Fly app, where you select the target and activate the desired mode (e.g. ActiveTrack). For optimum results, you should fly in as open an area as possible and ensure that the battery level is sufficient.

You cannot attach an Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Nano directly to the drone. The Mini 5 Pro is a standalone camera drone with an integrated 50-megapixel sensor and 4K camera that does not support an external Osmo Pocket or Osmo Nano camera attachment. DJI does not offer official compatibility or mounting options for these Osmo models on the drone.

Are the Mini 3/4 Pro batteries compatible?

avatar
Galaxus

The Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro batteries are not compatible with the Mini 5 Pro. The Mini 3 batteries work with the Mini 4 Pro, but not vice versa, and the Mini 5 Pro uses its own intelligent flight batteries, which are not compatible with the previous models. In addition, the use of Mini 4 Pro batteries in the Mini 5 Pro can increase the weight and put the drone in a different weight class (C1 instead of C0).

As soon as a drone is operated in europe and has a camera, an a1/a3 licence is required Every drone since about 2023~ must have a certification and be sold in europe The DJI Mini 5 Pro has a c0 certification even if it is 2-3g over it so you can fly it legally without insurance But as soon as a drone weighs over 250g or has a C1 certification, you must have a driving licence and liability insurance that covers at least 1 million
