Hello Suzanne I also connect my system via my mobile from time to time and it usually works perfectly. However, I have occasionally had problems with it and had to switch back to the radio. I can't help you in that sense because I haven't investigated the problem. However, it doesn't seem to be the fault of the individual system, but rather a fundamental defect.

Can't I adjust the balance (left right)?

The balance (left/right) cannot be adjusted separately on the Grundig CMS 5000 stereo system. However, the system offers an equaliser function with 5 equaliser bands that allows you to adjust the sound, but no specific balance setting for left and right.

I don't have Wi-Fi at home and unfortunately don't know how to use this function. I always listen to SPOTIFY directly from my smartphone via the Bluetooth function of the system, which works perfectly.

Hello, Sometimes it takes a moment until the Bluetooth connection can be established. Try switching the BT function of the sending device (tablet, phone, etc.) off and on again 1 or 2 times. Normally it works then. Otherwise, there must be a technical problem.

Activate the BLUETOOTH function on the mobile phone and on the system. It takes a moment, then the volume of the speakers can be controlled via the remote control or the volume key of the mobile phone. The mobile phone should always be near the system. 🙂🎶🎵

This is probably a small weakness of the unit. I have had the CMS 5000 for 13 months and always switch from one source to another via the menu button and the subsequent selection. On this occasion, I find it much more unpleasant that the unit has no balance control! Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

Here is the response from our department responsible: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee stability as many things can cause the wireless signal to be interrupted, such as interference from other products. WPS is optional for connection. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a feature provided with many routers. It is designed to facilitate the process of connecting to a secure wireless network from a computer or other device. Is the customer referring to connecting the TV to the stereo speakers? In this case, Grunding has a line input that he can connect to if his TV has a 3.5 mm output but not for headphones. If he has the mentioned port, he can use the following. Cable: Cordial CFY WCC Connection Cable (3m, Mid-range, 3.5mm jack, RCA) Alternatively, he would need this adapter to convert the Toslink output to RCA output: Delock Digital to HD analogue audio converter (Audio switch, Digital -> Analogue) We can suggest an alternative that is available and has an RJ45 input to connect the internet router directly to the stereo via an ethernet cable like this one: Stereo system: Panasonic SC-HC2040 (40W, Bluetooth, WiFi, CD Player, Spotify Connect, Chromecast integrated, Multiroom) In this case, the customer would need the adapter from above and this cable: Bandridge 3.5mm stereo plug BLUE - RCA stereo (2m, Mid-range, 3.5mm jack, RCA) And an ethernet cable like this one: Roline Network Cable (S/FTP, Cat. 5E, 300cm)

The manufacturer doesn't seem to give any information on this and unfortunately I didn't find any other precise answers to your question. I assume, however, that this should be possible. If not, you should be able to return the item if necessary.
