Yes, you can. You have a total of four setting options; Reactive, Medium, Light, Off.
Press the left button 2x at the bottom right, select Energy control in the menu that appears and then Room lighting. Here you can adjust the light or switch it off completely.
With this monitor, the frame rate cannot be synchronised with the GFX. Depending on the game / genre / scene, there is clearly a difference between synchronised frame rates between monitor and GFX versus non-synced monitor & screen.
It ufortunately isn't compatible with G-sync. However, it does work with AMD Freesync.
No, it's 230V straight into the display.
This did not work with my old HDMI cable. With a better HDMI cable it works for me now, 2560x1440 144Hz. I use a GeForce GTX 970 as my graphics card.
