Hi, I don't have the possibility of using the hp application because my Galaxy s7 edge is not compatible, it's too old and I use it with a usb cable. My question: how can I scan using the old method? I'm a dinosaur, thanks

The "HP Easy Scan" app can be installed on the Mac, then the scan works without any problems and the printer is automatically recognised by the Mac via "Bonjour", but this must be activated. The printer is recognised on the PC anyway and you can install the "Scanner" app from the MS Store for scanning. This also works without any problems.

I ordered such a part (via another account). It does not have a UBS connection, although this is stated. There is a recess for USB-B in the housing, but it is not used. In addition, the USB signet has been crossed out and taped off. A stupid mistake...

This printer does not have a USB plug (which I really miss :-( ) when I asked the answer was that you do everything via PC so it does not need a USB input.
