Helpful answer

This is really strange, OpenAI tells me the following: "The error message "gpt header is missing or corrupted" indicates that there is a problem with the GUID Partition Table (GPT) of your SSD. This could indicate that the SSD is not formatted correctly or that there is a conflict with the boot configuration." However, there could also be a defect on the SSD. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service team and we will find a solution: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new

Kingston says that the SSD should be compatible with Mac devices running macOS versions (v.10.14.x +). Unfortunately, it does not provide any further information about Ipads specifically. For all intents and purposes, here is the brand's contact form: https://www.kingston.com/fr/support/technical/emailcustomerservice?model=sxs2000

Why should it not be possible? I have created two partitions: I have encrypted one with VeraCrypt. This means that my data is securely encrypted. If you want to make it easier, you can also use Bitlocker from Microsoft. However, since I don't have a Windows Pro licence, this option was not available.
